General Overview		Nikola is a caring individual overall having spent a lot of time developing a way to protect people from the borg. He has sorrow he keeps hidden from most due to his parents one being dead and the other being in a medically induced coma to keep her alive.

Personal History		Nikola was born in August on planet Kila VI a small cluster of planets in the Kila system in the Delta quadrant. The colonies there primarily focused on medical and technical research. Nikola's parents draw their heritage directly from a scientist in Earth's history Charles Darwin and heading the research at their colonies lab they had high hopes for their son when early signs of advanced cognitive function was found even in utero. After he was born he was schooled in all the sciences. After his parents applied for him he was accepted into the Early Starfleet Admission Program in the Applied Sciences and allowed to test and train among much older people who joined Starfleet. After he passed the program he went back to his home planet to attend college programs and begin working with his parents. After many years his homeworld was attacked by the borg and some of the people were killed in the attack including his father. His mother survived but was assimilated to through the borg. After he retrieved her and disabled her Nikola and a small science crew put her in a medically induced coma and took the nanites from her body. After then Nikola devoted all his available time to research and developing his own nanites to combat the ones from the borg so that no one on his homeworld would ever have to fear assimilated. Along the way he adopted a young girl whose parents died in the testing he grew attached to named Emily. (She joined him when he was deployed)
